Timothy Foley | CEO & Managing Partner
Mr. Foley launched Eyas Capital with his partners in 2013 to provide proven cash flow investments in the hospitality and real estate sectors. Mr. Foley has 25+ years of experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors and has owned and operated Truxton’s American Bistro, Pat & Oscar’s restaurants and Red Carpet Catering. Mr. Foley is also an active investor in multi-family real estate and triple-net leased properties including ground-up development over the last ten years. Mr. Foley served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
Philip Gay | CFO & Partner
Mr. Gay has over 30 years experience operating restaurants in both CFO and CEO roles, and has assisted middle market companies with financing, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Gay has served as President and CEO of Grill Concepts, CFO of California Pizza Kitchen, CFO and Interim CEO of Wolfgang Puck Food Company, CEO of Color Me Mine, and CEO and COO of Diversified Food Group. Mr. Gay graduated with a degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
John Kaufman | President & Partner
Mr. Kaufman is a partner with Eyas Capital and leads the hospitality operations division. Mr. Kaufman is an
operations specialist who has worked with some of today’s most successful restaurants. Mr. Kaufman past
experience includes both fast casual and fine dining restaurants, including as President/COO of Koo Koo
Roo, President and COO of Famiglia Tosca Rosti, and Vice President of Operations for California Pizza Kitchen
from 1986 to 1995.
Jerry Comstock | Partner
Mr. Comstock is a tenured hospitality executive with over 30 years of experience in QSR fast food and full-service restaurant operations. He was the CEO & Managing Owner at Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Co., which was the 2nd largest Burger King franchise, 7th largest total US restaurant franchise, and 80th largest restaurant franchise in the world. Mr. Comstock led the acquisition and operation of 300 domestic Burger King franchises and 27 TGI Fridays, with total sales of nearly $500 million. Mr. Comstock received an undergraduate degree in business administration from The University of Texas.
Kash Sheikh | Partner
Mr. Sheikh is a partner in Eyas Capital LLC. Mr. Sheikh has over 20 years of investment and governance experience. He was the President and held other senior leadership positions at two private family investment companies. In this capacity, he led direct and indirect investments in hospitality, sports, tech, and a number of other areas and supported these investments through board positions and active engagement with management teams.
Jeffrey Campbell | Board Member & Advisor
Mr. Campbell is a tenured hospitality executive with over 50 years of experience involving globally recognized restaurant brands. As the former CEO and Chairman of Burger King, Johnny Rockets, Catalina Restaurant Group, and former Chairman of the Pillsbury Restaurant Group, he has overseen chains such as Steak and Ale, Bennigan’s, Godfather’s Pizza, and Burger King, totaling 6,000+ units worldwide. Mr. Campbell has a B.A. in Psychology from Fairfield University, an M.B.A. in marketing from Columbia University, and an M.A. in History from the University of Miami.
Courtney Connolly
Ms. Connolly has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, mezzanine investing, and strategic corporate finance. Ms. Connolly has worked both on the advisory and investment side of private equity and leveraged transactions as well as held key financial strategy positions within private equity-owned hospitality and retail businesses. Ms. Connolly has a B.S. in Accounting from Boston College.
Terry Hawk
Mr. Hawk is a 35-year Hospitality Veteran. Terry's most recent role was as a VP of Operations for Subway responsible for overseeing 850 restaurants and 300 Franchisees. His team consisted of 2 Directors of Operations, 2 Senior Business Coaches, 10 Business Coaches, and 2 directors of leasing. Terry has received numerous awards and recognition in his 30-year history with Subway.
